Quality is an important part of the Biesterfeld philosophy. Given the importance of environmental and occupational safety within each company where people work with chemicals, and the importance attached to the safety of employees and the people who are on the premises and in the immediate surroundings, Biesterfeld Nederland B.V. felt it necessary to have an integral management system. This system consists of the cornerstones Safety, Quality, Health and Environment, SQHE.

To make its quality and environmental policy public, Biesterfeld Nederland B.V. has the quality and environmental management policy developed in management systems that are certified according to the standards NEN EN-ISO 9001:2000 and NEN EN ISO 14001:2004.

Our existing policy on safe working conditions has been developed according to the principles of OHSAS 18001.

The Safety Management System (VMS) of Biesterfeld Nederland B.V. is based on our Security Policy and in accordance with the scheme of the Decision Rules Heavy Accidents, BRZO.

Since 1997 Biesterfeld Nederland B.V. takes part in the Responsible Care ® program of the chemical industry. This program is a global initiative of the chemical industry, to achieve a higher form of care and act responsibly with chemicals and communications with the public.
